Hi, haven't posted anything in a while, so thought I would just catch up a bit.
Been working on 10m a lot lately, although I have only made a few local contacts so far. Been trying to stir up some 10m activity in this area. I also have a friend who is a technician that is dying to make some 10m contacts, so we get on there everyday and chat for a while, just waiting for an opening.
Also been playing around a lot with the tube gear. I have an antique setup now, with a Heathkit Apache, Mohawk and Warrior 1KW linear. I also have a set of Drake C-line rigs now, as well as the old Yaesu FT-101ZD and Swan 350 rig. I have a Heath SB401 but I need to find a P/S for it, and a Atlas 210X that has a rcv problem I am working on.
Ok ok ok, I know those are 2 different subjects.....Just love them both too much I guess. Have all sorts of radios to keep me busy.
